Here are my main works in which I refer to the most famous and recognizable symbols and brands in popular culture, celebrities, cartoons and movies characters. In my paintings, I speak the language of popular culture, a language without nationality or borders, the most international language in the world - the language of neo-pop art. Flashy colors, chaotic splashes and diverse textures in all my work, transcribe a perception of the bizarre, plastic, chaotic and vulgar side of phenomena of popular culture. Meditating on contemporary realities, I have come to the strong feeling that mass culture has replaced reality, making it a simulation. In this simulation, the rules of the game have changed, and people have become commodities. To become happy and successful, you must sell yourself at a high price, and to do that, you must become a brand. Also thinking on the true free will in a programmed game. Does it exist? If the choice is between Coke and Pepsi, is that a free choice? Are there others more fundamental options available to us? And most importantly, do we need them? In the image of Mickey, whom I transformed and called Mr. M, I embodied a collective image of absolute evil, a kind of conductor, the archetype of the Devil himself, the architect of the simulation, our collective shadow striving for absolute control and unlimited power. Mr. M creates and controls his world through mass culture, and that is where his power lies. In the artificially created images, meanings, values, in that very simulation where celebrities and brands have reached the heights once occupied by the gods.
