How much do we underestimate the influence of cinema and music on our lives? And if we take into account the fact that these industries are tied to artists whom we idealize in every possible way and worship to some extent, as they are an indicator of success, talent and beauty? Are artists independent in their self-expression or are they subject to certain rules and regulations, as well as to multi-million dollar interests? Do they have their own will or are they slaves of many millions? What is the factory of illusions broadcasting to us? Why? For what purpose? Is all this an absolute good? Are certain ideas implanted in us while we crunch sweet popcorn or vibrate our ass to the beat? There are no answers here, but I ask a lot of questions as a music lover, a film lover and a person who has looked at the factory of illusions very closely, in detail and from different angles.
